DYNAMIC ENGINEERING
As the suspension on a sports car contributes to the quality of the ride, the real-world performance of the ICON is decided by its ergonomics. The construction of the ICON series has necessitated an unrelenting level of precision engineering: 4D armrests, 90° to 135° of backrest adjustability, a robust 11° rocking mechanism and a safety class 4 gas lift supporting up to 180 kg coalesce to offer a superior sitting experience.
ANATOMICAL OPTIMISATION
While mechanical and material optimisations are key to the performance of the ICON, it is the shape in which they are employed that matters most. The eccentric shape of the ICON and its dimensionally stable cold foam improves ergonomic stability and anatomical compatibility, combining to maximise comfort and minimise pressure on the body over long periods of time. To further customise neck and lumbar support we included two luxuriously embroidered and adjustable pillows, thereby enabling the seat to actively respond to the needs of the user.

Voor gaming en normaal gebruik

Deze stoel bevalt zeer goed, dit is een van de weinige modellen gaming stoelen die ook voor langere duur goed en comfortabel zit. Omdat de rugleuning geen overdreven kuipstoel design heeft kan je makkelijk van relax naar actieve stand gaan zonder dat de stoel hinderlijk is. Hierdoor kan je goed een hele dag thuis werken of lekker gamen. De kwaliteit van de stoel is bovengemiddeld goed te noemen, het (kunst)leer zit strak op de stoel en de stiksels zijn goed afgewerkt. De algemene bouwkwaliteit is goed, de stoel voelt stevig aan en er zit weinig tot geen speling op de verstelbare onderdelen. De stoel komt in een grote doos en alles zit goed verpakt in schuim. Het pakket weegt wel veel en als deze de trap op moet heb je al bijna een tweede persoon nodig om te tillen. De handleiding is duidelijk en binnen een kwartier zit je stoel ook al in elkaar. Je kan de stoel zo instellen als je zelf wilt, echter kan je niet de zit diepte of rugleuning hoogte aanpassen. Dit is eigenlijk ook het enige minpuntje aan de stoel.

Een prima stoel die snel (25 min) en makkelijk in elkaar kan worden gezet. Zit comfortabel (even wennen aan de hardheid maar na 1 week top!).

Het is beter om iets meer geld uit te geven aan een stoel als deze, dan voor low-budget te gaan: Hiervoor had ik een Trust Resto stoel, en deze was binnen de kortste keren kapot, stof van matige kwaliteit... Deze stoel is stevig, de bekleding is geweldig, veel comfortabeler dan mijn vorige stoel.
