Device and security configuration is a snap with the browser-based configuration utility.

Linksys WAP610N

Installatie van de WAP610N was zeer eenvoudig en zonder problemen. Signaalsterkte is uistekend, zelfs door twee masssieve betonvloeren heen. Verbinding is constant en heeft mij sinds aanschaf nog niet in de steek gelaten.
Rectificatie: werkt nu prima

Met de nieuwste firmware update (build 94) lijkt het probleem toch opgelost. Echter er staat nergens beschreven bij Linksys dat deze build het probleem van spontaan rebooten heeft opgelost.
Onduidelijke gebruikershandleiding

Heb een laptop van de zaak, die afgeschermd is en me niet toestaat om updates en software te installeren. De instructies via de bijgeleverde CD ROM werkten hierdoor niet. Heb uiteindelijk het accesspoint rechtstreeks op mijn router aangesloten met een LAN kabel, waarna ik via explorer aan kon loggen op mijn router en inzicht kreeg in het IP adres en de toegangscode voor het accesspoint. Voor niet IT geschoolden kan dit een lastig verhaal zijn.
